It’s Waggy Walk Week! So to celebrate our stunning Countryside parks we will be joining ranger Matt for a sociable group guided walk at Ridgetop Park.
The walk starts at 10am and lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours as we stroll through and learn about this beautiful site along the way.
Please come dressed for the weather with sturdy footwear. Ridgetop Park includes some steep hills and stunning views. Walks are FREE and everyone is welcome, but you need to book your place. Maximum of two dogs per person.

From the Devon Hotel roundabout at Matford, follow the main road uphill towards Alphington. Take the first left onto Trood Lane into the Bovis Homes Haldon Reach development. You can either continue straight along Trood Lane, or if you prefer to avoid a single track lane take the first right onto Ellacott Road, then 3rd left onto Garrison Road and drive past the Matford Brook Academy which is still being built. You will have the school development on your right and completed houses on your left. At the end of the houses, look out for the Devon Loves Dogs sign, turn right along the single track lane and the car park is just along the lane on the left. Car parking is FREE.
