Waggy Walk at Fingle Bridge

Looking for a more adventurous walk with your dog? Join us and Dominic from the National Trust for a scenic Waggy Walk around Castle Drogo and down to Fingle Bridge.

This is a more strenuous walk than usual, taking in some uneven paths, steps, steep ground and some unfenced drops, so please come prepared with appropriate footwear and a fair level of fitness. Dogs will need to be kept on leads for some of this walk and paws on paths/under control for much of the route to help protect this special landscape.

There will be a chance for dogs to enjoy a run around in the meadow at Fingle Bridge, as well as designated splash points along the river.

  • Duration approx. 2.5 hours
  • Free to join but booking is required
  • Maximum of 2 dogs per person
  • Toilets available at Fingle Bridge and the visitor centre

Book now!

This will be a fantastic opportunity to explore this beautiful National Trust site, meet other dog owners, and learn more about the landscape along the way.

The meeting point for this walk will be at the National Trust Castle Drogo car park, which is free to National Trust members otherwise it is pay and display.
