Mules Park

Perched high above the coast in Teignmouth, Mules Park forms a part of the beautiful East Cliff Park, a hidden gem offering a mix of open space, stunning gardens and fascinating history.

Mules Park itself is a wide, open grassy area, perfect for letting your dog enjoy a good run and play. The surrounding parkland is wonderfully varied, with winding paths leading through sub-tropical gardens, peaceful ponds and historic features including a restored walled garden and elegant buildings like Rowdens House overlooking the lawns. There are plenty of peaceful hidden benches set around the gardens to relax and enjoy a peaceful rest with your furry friend.

The elevated position means you’ll also be treated to breathtaking views over the sea, railway line and estuary, making this a great spot for a relaxed wander with plenty to see along the way.

  • Parking is available at East Cliff car park & coach park, which is pay & display and provides easy access into the park.
  • Public toilets can be found nearby, along the seafront.
  • Designated doggy splash zones.
  • A cafe along the seafront is just a short walk away from the car park, perfect for a post-walk treat.
  • Most of the walk is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users
  • Parts of this walk can get boggy during wet weather
  • Multiple poo bins and waste bins are located throughout the park
