Designed for dogs. Loved by people. Sharing space with wildlife.
Do you walk your dog on the Pebblebed Heaths? Join us for a tail-wagging day of fun! Hosted by Devon Loves Dogs and the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust as part of Heath week 2026, this event is all about your dog’s happiness and wellbeing, whilst celebrating our stunning local heathland!
This is a great opportunity to enhance your daily dog walk and pop by with your furry friend for a FREE interactive experience packed with engaging stalls, games, workshops, talks and live displays. From discovering exciting dog sports and enrichment activities to learning how to support your dogs physical and mental wellbeing, everything is thoughtfully designed with your dogs enjoyment at heart.
Take part in our short guided on-lead walks with our rangers and experts to explore the stunning heaths, learn about the wildlife, history and more, and find out how you and your dog can help protect this special place.
We understand that not every dog enjoys a busy day out, so if they will be happier at home there will still be plenty to enjoy without them.
This event will be held at the Model Airfield on Woodbury Common (W3W///unto.inspects.doubt). Free parking will be available at Model Airfield car park with additional parking at Uphams and Four Firs, only a short walk away with clear directions to the event space.
- Dogs must be kept on lead whilst at the event
- Please bring water for your dog
- No dogs to be left in cars
- Parking is available at various car parks around the heaths
- Toilet facilities will be available on site
In the event of hot weather, some of the activities and displays may be altered. You know what’s best for your dog so please leave them at home if necessary, you can tell them all about it later!
