Bird Watching Waggy Walk at Dawlish Warren

Join us for a special bird watching Waggy Walk at Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve, led by Ranger Phoebe.

This fully on-lead walk will take us at a slower, more relaxed pace as we explore the reserve and discover the amazing variety of bird life that calls this beautiful place home. An expert Ranger will guide us along the way, sharing her knowledge and helping us spot and identify some of the wonderful birds we encounter.

This walk is best suited to calmer dogs who are happy walking on lead and taking things slowly, as we’ll be pausing regularly to look and listen for birds.

If you have them, bring along your binoculars, but we’ll also have some spares available to borrow. We’d also recommend downloading the Merlin Bird App before the walk too, which can help us identify some of the birds we hear along the way.

  • We will set off at 10am
  • Maximum of one dog per person
  • The walk will last approximately 1.5-2 hours
  • Tickets are free but booking is essential
