Bake a ‘pup cake’ and you could win a hamper of dog goodies!
To celebrate its third birthday, Devon Loves Dogs is asking people to submit their best cake photos for the chance to win a doggy hamper.
All you have to do is bake a dog-friendly cake, take a photo and send a digital copy to Devon Loves Dogs by 9am on Tuesday 25th August. It could be a ‘pup’ cake, a paw-shaped cake or any kind of cake, as long as it is safe for dogs.
Find recipes, check the rules and take part in the competition at www.devonlovesdogs.co.uk or follow @devonlovesdogs on social media.
The winner will be announced during a live Facebook birthday broadcast, starting at 12:30 on Thursday 27th August. All Devon Loves Dogs friends, old and new, are welcome to join online at www.facebook.com/DevonLovesDogs/. It will be a chance to catch up with Devon Loves Dogs Julie and friends virtually, since all the social Waggy Walks were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The winner will receive a hamper full of dog treats, toys and goodies so get baking!
Julie Owen, Devon Loves Dogs Coordinator, said:
“We can’t wait to see lots of pictures of dog cakes for our birthday photo competition, as long as they are made with dog-friendly ingredients. Ready, steady, bake!
“We really wanted to celebrate our birthday with all our human and furry friends this year, but Covid-19 has made us all a bit more creative, so we’re going online for the party.
“We have missed our guided walks and meeting up with people, so we’re delighted we can still celebrate with our friends online so we can get together virtually.”
