At this time of year it's vital we we don't have BBQ's or fires at any of our protected sites including Dawlish Warren and the Pebblebed Heaths. In both of these locations the risk of wildfire is very high and a lost ember can have catastrophic consiquences for wildlife, habitats, homes and businesses. But, we know how much fun a BBQ can be, which is why the Rangers at Teignbridge District Council have provided a purpose built BBQ area at Dawlish Countryside Park. Just turn up and enjoy!
