Photo Competition Rules

1. The Promoter
The promoter is Devon Loves Dogs (DLD) Blackdown House, Border Road, Heathpark Industrial Estate, Honiton EX14 1EJ.
2. Eligibility
The Devon Loves Dogs cake photo competition is open to all, from complete beginners through to professional bakers/photographers of all ages. Photos must be of a homemade cake which can be safely eaten by dogs. Decorations and cake toppings must also be safe for dogs to eat.
Submission Rules
Entries can either be posted on the Devon Loves Dogs Facebook page or can be submitted via email to woof@devonlovesdogs.co.uk.  No entries will be accepted by post. All entries must include your name, your age if under 18 and a short caption i.e. “Carrot pupcakes made for Maisie”. Images can be either portrait or landscape orientation. Images should not contain people. By entering photos you are consenting to Devon Loves Dogs using your images without a photo credit for marketing purposes.
*Privacy: Please provide your name: email address or phone number, so we can contact you to inform you if you have won; your age if under 18; and a short caption.
Your personal details will be deleted after the winner has been contacted. These details will only be used to contact you about your entry.
Deadline for entries: 9am Tuesday 25th August 2020
4. Prizes
The winning entry will receive a hamper of dog goodies. The winner will be announced at the Facebook live event at 12.30 on Thursday 27th August and the winner will be notified by email the same day.
5. Competition Judging
The Judges’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. A panel of three judges will choose the winning image.
6. Copyright and permissions
You warrant that the entry is entirely your own work and not copied or adapted from any other source.  You retain all rights you have in the copyright and other intellectual property rights comprising your entry. Content submitted to Devon Loves Dogs cake photo competition may be published by Devon Loves Dogs in print and/or digital media (including social media pages) on a worldwide, perpetual basis. Please do not submit any content if you do not agree to these terms.
7. Liabilities
Devon Loves Dogs is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of the prize. The entrant will indemnify Devon Loves Dogs for all liabilities, including legal costs, in relation to any action or complaint taken by any third party against the Promoter in relation to the entrant’s photograph(s).
8. General
Devon Loves Dogs reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law. When a photograph is submitted and the entry date has passed, the entry cannot be changed or withdrawn. Entry to the competition shall be deemed full and unconditional acceptance of the terms & conditions.
