Botany Waggy Walk at Dawlish Warren 🌷

Join us for a special botany waggy walk at Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve, where we’ll slow things down and take a closer look at the fascinating plants and flowers that make this site so special at this time of year.

This smaller, more relaxed group walk will be led by our expert guide Phoebe, who will share insights about the unique plants and habitats found here. On this walk we’ll be coming down to a dogs level, taking the time to notice the wildflowers, grasses and coastal plants that we often pass by on our usual walks.

To start, we’ll head down to the beach where those who would like can enjoy a bit of off-lead fun on the sand before heading in to the nature reserve.

The pace will be calm and gentle, with dogs kept on lead for this part of the walk. This makes it a great option for dogs (and owners!) who prefer a quieter environment and a slower, more mindful stroll.

  • We will set off at 10am
  • The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours
  • maximum of 1 dog per person
  • Spaces are limited as this will be a smaller group for a calmer experience.
