We’ve teamed up with local author and keen dog walker Deb Bridges. Deb has previously researched and published Dog Walks South Devon & Dartmoor. Deb and her gorgeous dog Ula joined us on a Waggy Walk and some of our Devon Loves Dogs members helped with checking routes for the new book and supplied photos of themselves and their dogs too!
We have 5 copies of the latest book Dog Walks East & Mid Devon to give away to Devon Loves Dogs friends. To win a copy of this new book we’d simply like you to tell us about your favourite local dog walk and share a photo of your dog out enjoying themselves. To be eligible for the competition walks must be within Teignbridge, East Devon or Exeter. Our five favourite walks will receive a copy of the book and your walk might also be listed on the Devon Loves Dogs website on the Out & About page so that our members can enjoy it too.

To enter, send us an email to woof@devonlovesdogs.co.uk with the following information:
1. Your name
2. Your contact email and telephone number
3. Name and breed of your dog
4. Location of your favourite walk i.e. Dawlish Countryside Park
5. Brief description: i.e. starting in the car park follow the main path around the perimeter of the park, it takes about 40 minutes to walk round.
6. Why do you like this walk? Free car park, dog bins, great views
7. Why does your dog like this walk? Lots of space to run off lead, no livestock, lots of other dogs to sniff.
8. Don’t forget to attach a photo of your dog too!

Rules of the competition:
1. The Promoter  The promoter is Devon Loves Dogs (DLD) Blackdown House, Border Road, Heathpark Industrial Estate, Honiton EX14 1EJ.
2. Eligibility  The Devon Loves Dogs book competition is open to all.
3. Submission Rules
Entries must be submitted via email to woof@devonlovesdogs.co.uk.  No entries will be accepted by post. All entries must include your name, your age if under 18 and brief description of the walk as in the example above. Images can be either portrait or landscape orientation and should be taken by you. Please do not submit images which were not taken by you. Images should not contain people. By entering photos you are consenting to Devon Loves Dogs using your images without a photo credit for marketing purposes.
*Privacy: Please provide your name; email address and phone number, so we can contact you to inform you if you have won; your age if under 18; and a short description of the walk.
Your personal details will be deleted after the winner has been contacted. These details will only be used to contact you about your entry.
Deadline for entries: 5pm on Friday 25th November 
4. Prizes  The 5 winning entries will receive a copy of Dog Walks East & Mid Devon. The winners will be notified by email on Monday 5th December.
5. Competition Judging
The Judges’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. A panel of three judges will choose the winning walks.
6. Copyright and permissions
You warrant that the entry is entirely your own work and not copied or adapted from any other source.  You retain all rights you have in the copyright and other intellectual property rights comprising your entry. Content submitted to Devon Loves Dogs book competition may be published by Devon Loves Dogs in print and/or digital media (including social media pages) on a worldwide, perpetual basis. Please do not submit any content if you do not agree to these terms.
7. Liabilities
Devon Loves Dogs is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of the prize. The entrant will indemnify Devon Loves Dogs for all liabilities, including legal costs, in relation to any action or complaint taken by any third party against the Promoter in relation to the entrant’s suggested walk and photograph(s).
8. General
Devon Loves Dogs reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law. When a walk and photograph is submitted and the entry date has passed, the entry cannot be changed or withdrawn. Entry to the competition shall be deemed full and unconditional acceptance of the terms & conditions.
