Waggy Walk at Core Copse

Join Devon Loves Dogs and Chris from Forestry England for a sociable, group dog walk around the woodland. Walk starts at 10am and lasts up to 1.5 hours. We’ll be following paths and tracks, wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather. This site can be muddy. Maximum of 2 dogs per person. Walks are FREE but you need to book your place via the Eventbrite link

By Car

From Honiton, head south along A375 (Sidmouth Road). Turn right at Hare and Hounds pub at Putts Corner. Follow Crowpitts Covert for approx. 1.6km and turn left on to East Hill Strips (Forestry sign behind fence). Follow the forest road for approx. 1km until you see a field on your left. Go past first turning on left and there is a layby parking area on the next left, facing the access gate to Core Copse.

From Ottery St Mary, head east towards Chineway Hill along Chineway Road. On reaching the summit of the hill turn right and follow the forest road for approx. 1km until you see a field on your left. Go past first turning on left and there is a layby parking area on the next left, facing the access gate to Core Copse.
